High fever is a protective and adaptive reaction of the body to infection, less often it occurs in response to the effects of other unfavorable internal and external stimuli. Also, it is a persistent increase in body temperature, increased sweating, chills, in some cases, it is combined with signs of intoxication: nausea, vomiting, weakness, general malaise.
